It was a busy morning on the scratch front for Herringswell Stables. Just one of the two important scratches was our horse.

Turf Melody was scratched from today's 7-furlong Miracle Wood in favor of the March 6 Gotham at Aqueduct in New York. The Maria's Mon 3-year-old breezed 5-furlongs Saturday morning at Fair Hill in 1:02. The Gotham is a Grade III $250,000 1 1/16 stakes for straight 3-year-olds.

The other scratch Saturday morning allowed our filly, Rcuandry, to draw into the Grade III Very One. She will wear the number 16 saddle cloth and Jeremy Rose gets the return call in the 1 3/8 stakes.
