Coolcullen Times was put to the test today at Saratoga in the John's Call Stakes over one mile and five eighths.  He led from the start and was so nearly there at the finish.  Always First, who was Tom Voss's nine year old running in the race passed him in the last sixteenth of a mile and the second horse got him on the wire - so annoying!  Anyway, he was third and this was his first Stakes place so well done Coolcullen.

If the result had to be anything else than us winning the outcome was perfect.  For Tom Voss, to win this race with his nine year old after his famous Grade I winning nine year old John's Call died this winter had to have been a roller coaster of emotions for him.  Well done.
