Lisa Jean made it two out of three today at Saratoga to make it our first winner this year - yeah! She was second in her last race in New York and previous to that she won her maiden, also at New York. Congratulations to Jack Swain who also has a Lemon Drop Kid colt out of Worthy Cat selling tomorrow night at the Fasig Tipton sale up there. Hopefully he sells well for him.

That was Shared Account in the Diana Stakes (Grade I) at Saratoga this afternoon. As always, she was confidently ridden by Edgar Prado who rode her to a second place finish (beaten just a head) to Proviso, beating Breeders Cup winner and previous two time winner of the Diana Stakes, Forever Together. Proviso beat her just a head and that was no mean feat to be second to her as she is the winner of 8 of her 21 starts, 3 of them I think against the boys and 3 Grade I's!

Bullsbay left this morning on his short journey to the Northview Stallion Station at Chesapeake City. It was quite emotional actually seeing him leave (as it aways is)!! but of course Bullsbay was Graham's first Grade 1 winner on the dirt having won the Whitney at Saratoga last year. He looked fantastic and we fed him carrots in the van as a goodbye present!
They are not sure yet whether he will stay there or go to the Pennsylvania division of the Northview Stallion Station but either way he is local enough for us to go and visit! He's a wonderful looking horse and with the lovely Tiznow blood hopefully he'll be a great addition to the East Coast stallion roster.
