Animal Kingdom was cleared to resume training next week after a bone scan done at the New Bolton Center on Monday revealed no signs of the injury that had sidelined him, reports the Daily Racing Form. Trainer Graham Motion said the 2011 Kentucky Derby winner is likely to jog under tack for three to four weeks before beginning works for his comeback. Motion said Animal Kingdom could make a return this fall.

Animal Kingdom has been sidelined since he came out of a work on March 10 with a hind end stress fracture.AK-for-Web-4-10-12
